About Me
My name is Sierra Freeman and I am a junior at Flowery Branch High School. I have spent the past few months mentoring at Corso Law Center in Gainesville, GA, under the guidance of my mentors; Arturo Corso, Rosie Flores, and Dani Rivas. I generally spend my time at the office taking notes on case files of interviews, or filing cases. When I am not at the office I have been granted the opportunity to observe trials, which has undoubtably been the most interesting aspect of my mentorship. I have ledarned quite a bit about how the justice system works and the process behind it. I understand more now the amount of work and research that goes into each case and I understand more legal jargon now than I did when I first started my mentorship. I took this mentorship in order to better get a grasp on whether or not I would be interested in pursuing a career in law, and I beleive that takng this job will definitely help me in the future. It has given me a background of law which will be a priceless asset, and allowed me a look into what law is really like so I am able to make more informed decisions in the future about which category of law will best suit me.
